Nov 29 School Readiness for ECE.png

Workshop Overview:

Do you wonder why some children move with ease while others struggle with coordination? Do you know how body awareness lays the groundwork for early math skills? Just like a tree needs strong roots to grow and thrive, a child’s brain relies on sensory-motor development as its foundation for learning, self-regulation, attention and social-emotional growth.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the neuroscience behind sensory-motor development, the stages of movement maturation, and their impact on school readiness. Through a mix of theory and hands-on activities, you'll gain practical, creative tools to support children’s development—helping them grow strong and flourish, just like a well-nurtured tree. Perfect for educators, therapists, and caregivers!

Jan 7 Music and Reading for ECE.png

Workshop Overview:

Storytelling and music are at the heart of early childhood education—but they’re so much more than just reading a book or singing a song! In this engaging workshop, you’ll explore creative ways to bring stories and music to life, captivating young learners and deepening their engagement. Learn how to use books in innovative ways to spark curiosity and interaction, and discover simple, stress-free strategies for incorporating music—even if you’re not a musician. Through movement, puppetry, imaginative play, and rhythm, you’ll foster creativity, language development, inclusion, and emotional growth. You’ll leave with fresh, hands-on ideas that make storytelling and music fun, meaningful, and confidence-building for both you and the children you teach.
